Liverpool target Nabil Fekir opens door to Lyon exit
Lyon forward Nabil Fekir has sparked more speculation over a possible move to Liverpool by saying “nobody signs for life in a club.”
The France international, 24, has been linked with a possible £60m move to Anfield this summer after scoring 22 goals for the Ligue 1 club.
And amid suggestions he could effectively be a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who was sold in January to Barcelona, Fekir says he could leave Lyon.
"The president told me, like he told everyone else when they signed their contracts, that we have the possibility to talk whenever I want to leave," he told L’Equipe.
"Nobody signs for life in a club. It doesn't work like that.
"But I don't have a free pass to leave. I have a contract until 2020. I'll let destiny handle the rest.
"I'm in Lyon for two more games and then we'll see.
"For now, there's nothing. The president trusts me and I feel good at Lyon."
