Ezequiel Lavezzi move 'could happen very quickly' warns agent
Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent has warned clubs around Europe that the forward's departure from Paris Saint-Germain "could happen very quickly".
The 30-year-old is set to be out of contract at the end of the season and it does not appear likely that he will stay in the French capital beyond the summer.
Juventus and Inter Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for Lavezzi, while a number of Premier League clubs are reportedly watching the situation closely.
The Argentine's representative Alejandro Mazzoni has moved swiftly to ensure that everyone realises his client could move imminently.
"Inter and Juventus? We don’t know anything yet, but it could all happen very quickly,” Mazzoni told Le10Sports in France.
According to Football Italia, Juventus are prepared to move for Lavezzi very soon, but Inter are hoping that he will become a free agent in June and are happy to bide their time.
OUR VIEW
This is the time when agents love to come out and remind everyone that their players are available or seeking moves, but it's rare for a player to be spoken of in such brazen terms regarding a departure from a top club. Lavezzi has long been linked with a move away from PSG, but the club may not be too impressed with Mazzoni coming out in this way and making assumptions as to the speed of a potential transfer. One thing is patently obvious: Lavezzi will be on the move this summer at the very latest.
