Saint-Etienne unveil huge ‘Justice for the 96’ banner

Saint-Etienne unveiled a banner in support for the Hillsborough campaign during their home clash against Lille in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The banner, which stretched most of the stand behind the goal, read: "Hillsborough, 25 years of lies... Justice for the 96!"
It was on display for the entire match which Saint-Etienne won 2-0 at Stade Geoffroy Guichard. Victory kept them in the hunt for a Champions League spot.
Last week, the police commander in charge of the match at Hillsborough during which the 96 Liverpool supporters died in 1989 told an inquest that his failure to close a tunnel "was the direct cause" of the loss of lives.
The BBC reported that former chief superintendent David Duckenfield admitted he "froze" as the tragedy unfolded at the FA Cup semi-final in April 1989 between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
