The reigning champions had slipped off the summit at the weekend on goal difference, but goals from Marco Verratti (on 25 minutes), Edinson Cavani (42) and Gregory van der Wiel (77) gave them a straightforward win.

Modibo Maiga pulled one back just after half-time, but the visitors never looked likely to pull off a victory.

PSG's next match is against Nantes on Sunday night, while title rivals Lyon - who are three points off the pace - play Evian on Saturday afternoon.
