Planus return put back

The 28-year-old France international has played just 45 minutes of football this season, and Bordeaux coach Jean Tigana confirmed to L'Equipe that the "serious" injury still needs at least six more weeks.

But Tigana was boosted by the news that Planus's fellow defender Lamine Sane is recovered from a mild sprain.

"Everything is going well. I feel good and I think I will have recovered for Saturday," he said, before adding that Bordeaux's defence has been badly unsettled by the injuries in the squad.

"We have to make do with injuries and suspensions, we have been unable to have a settled defence.

"It's true that we have often found ourselves in difficulties, but it happens. We must show the coach that he can have confidence in us by showing more defensive strength, individually and collectively."
