Armand: PSG look champions
ByTNT Sports
Paris St Germain defender Sylvain Armand believes his team have found title-winning confidence after moving to within a point of Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.
PSG beat Loriet 1-0 at the weekend while Les Gones lost 2-0 to Lille to close the gap in a title race which has long looked Lyon's to lose.
The Parisiens have now have won six of their last seven league matches and are also through to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup with a squad that has stayed injury-free.
"Lyon's defeat against Lille has really closed up the championship," said Armand.
"You have to be honest - we are one point off Lyon and nothing is unreachable at the moment. Special things could happen.
"It is very exciting to be on such a run. It's almost like we have the look of champions.
"We are putting results together and we won at Lorient without Claude Makelele and Stephane Sessegnon (both suspended).
"These are two important players in our squad but we proved we aren't dependent on them."
