French starlet Ben Arfa has failed to establish himself has a regular player under Gerard Houiller and is tempted to move.
“We will ask questions of the directors at the end of the season,” Ben Arfa told France-Football. “Today, I need to play in order to progress.
“Will I have the chance to do it with OL?"
The 20-year-old Parisian - who turned down the opportunity to represent Tunisia at the World Cup in order to focus on playing for France - would be prepared to take a step-down from the record six-time consecutive French champions in order to get more playing time:
“Will I have to move somewhere else, even to a less famous club?" he mused. “I am ready for anything.”
Lyon could suffer a real summer exodus after a number of players declared they wanted to be transferred and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas stated that he was planning on an overhaul of the playing staff. Claudio Cacapa has already announced his departure and could join PSG, Eric Abidal could join Barcelona, Florent Malouda is linked with a Premiership move and goalkeepers Gregory Coupet and Remy Vercoutre are hesitant about their futures.
