Ben Arfa future in doubt

French starlet Ben Arfa has failed to establish himself has a regular player under Gerard Houiller and is tempted to move.

“We will ask questions of the directors at the end of the season,” Ben Arfa told France-Football. “Today, I need to play in order to progress.

“Will I have the chance to do it with OL?"

The 20-year-old Parisian - who turned down the opportunity to represent Tunisia at the World Cup in order to focus on playing for France - would be prepared to take a step-down from the record six-time consecutive French champions in order to get more playing time:

“Will I have to move somewhere else, even to a less famous club?" he mused. “I am ready for anything.”

Lyon could suffer a real summer exodus after a number of players declared they wanted to be transferred and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas stated that he was planning on an overhaul of the playing staff.
