The French international has not featured in the capital club's side for the last four games; a situation which the player said had left him feeling "humiliated."
PSG coach Guy Lacombe shed light on the situation on Sunday, saying: "Vikash asked me for an explanation and I told him he was not performing well enough.
"Vikash is not professional enough on the pitch considering his potential," Lacombe said. "I can forgive him but he has to apologise publicly to the players and the staff."
Dhorasso, a former Lyon and Milan player, caused a storm over the summer when he revealed he wanted to make a documentary entitled 'Substitute', based on France's World Cup campaign.
His plans prompted criticism from the national coach Raymond Domenech, and many in France turned on him, even booing the player during France's preparatory matches for the summer tournament.
