“I could leave Bordeaux, there is a 50:50 chance” Darcheville declared on L'Equipe TV.
“I am conscious my career is coming to a close. I have to think about my family's future. If there is an interesting opportunity, I will think about it.
“Joining a big club is not a necessity. I am the kind of guy who listens to his feelings. A club's director can give me an interesting speech and offer me a challenge.
“A great challenge would be helping a club that wants to build itself or a big club that is looking for a player that can change the game when introduced."
“It depends… I need something that motivates me."
French Guyana-born Darcheville started his career at Rennes before moving to Forest in 1998, where he only spent one season before they were relegated to the then First Division. He then impressed at Lorient, helping them to promotion to Ligue 1 before being snapped up by Bordeaux in 2002.
“Lyon are not interested in me," he declared of the five-time French champions alleged interest and the only French side he views as a superior challenge to Bordeaux.
“The Premiership is a league where I can express myself. Only Spain or England could interest me, apart from France.”
