The decision follows a tense meeting last week when players took sides with goalkeeper and captain Mickael Landreau, who had hit out at Amisse and club president Jean-Luc Gripond in an interview.
French international Landreau, who has played all his professional career at Nantes, had argued there was an absence of a clear strategy and said Gripond was doing "more harm than good to the club".
