Thibaut Courtois wants Eden Hazard at Real Madrid
Thibaut Courtois says he wants former Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard to join him at Real Madrid.
The Belgium attacking midfielder revealed in February that the has decided his future plans, without revealing them, and has been consistently linked with a move the Bernabeu.
And his Belgium team-mate, Courtois, says he’d be delighted if the 28-year-old arrived – though he admitted he has no inside information on what will happen.
"I don't know if he is going to sign for Real Madrid, nor do I know if the club want him," the goalkeeper told Onda Cero.
"For me, he is a great player, but I don't decide those things.
Each one decides what he does with his life. For me, he is one of the best in the world and as a friend I would like him to be here.
Hazard, who scored on his 100th appearance for Belgium on Sunday, also gave no indication about his future.
“There is still nothing,” he replied when asked about any future at Madrid.
