Juanfran: Antoine Griezmann happy at Atletico Madrid
Barcelona target Antoine Griezmann has no plans to leave Atletico Madrid this transfer window, his teammate Juanfran has insisted.
Speaking after Atletico beat Napoli 2-1 on Tuesday in the Audi Cup, Juanfran played down any talk of the forward leaving.
He said: "We are open to the market. It is getting a little crazy and any operation can affect you."
He added: "Griezmann is happy at Atleti and we want to give everything for the Atleti."
The 26-year-old forward was widely rumoured to be leaving Madrid and strongly linked to Manchester United at the end of last season.
Though rumours appeared to calm down in the wake of Griezmann's new contract with Atletico, committing him to the club until 2022, other developments in the transfer market appear to have further stoked speculation.
With PSG apparently poised to snap up Barcelona star, Neymar, Barca are said to be in the frame to sign Griezmann as a replacement.
At a press conference earlier this week, Atletico boss Diego Simeone told reporters he was pleased that his players attracted interest from top European clubs, but said he was confident that his players wanted to stay.
