Revived Malaga beat ten-man Sporting Gijon
Malaga had to come from behind twice to beat a resilient Sporting Gijon 3-2 - down to ten men after the late dismissal of defender Lillo.
Gijon took an early lead courtesy of Borja Viguera, but Pablo Fornals levelled things up in first-half injury time.
Duje Cop put the visitors back in front four minutes into the second half before Sandro Ramirez made it 2-2 in the 65th minute by heading home from a corner.
Lillo was given his marching orders in the closing stages for a second clumsy challenge, and Michael Santos made the man advantage tell in the 78th minute when he nodded home the winner.
