Cristiano Ronaldo on £156m Real Madrid exit: 'Nothing is impossible'
With rumours swirling over a possible €180 million (£156m) departure from Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to confirm he will stay with the champions of Europe.
It is less than a week since Ronaldo scored twice in Cardiff to lead Madrid to a 4-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final.
But reports in the European press on Wednesday suggested former club Manchester United, as well as French clubs Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, could be lining up what would be a monumental bid for a 32-year-old.
Ronaldo was asked by Deportes Cuatro whether a move was possible and, in quotes reported by the Daily Mirror, replied: “Nothing is impossible.”
The club's all-time record goalscorer signed a new contract in November which ties him to the club until 2021 and pays him £365,000 per week.
