Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has claimed that Dani Alves “intends to stay” at Barcelona after conceding defeat in his attempts to sign the right-back.

The 32-year-old’s contract with La Blaugrana is still due to expire on June 30, having failed to agree terms on an extension, but the man in charge of the French champions believes the player will eventually pen a renewal.
“I don’t think Dani Alves will join PSG,” he told reporters.
“Dani Alves’ contract with Barcelona is due to expire, but he intends to stay there.”
Alves's future has long been up in the air, with the veteran Brazilian being linked to several clubs in the Premier League - including Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United - as well as PSG.
And though Barcelona have consistently stated that they wish to keep him, the player himself has seemed determined to leave - and just last week launched an attack on his employers' attitude, citing a lack of respect.
Two months ago the player's agent - who is also his ex-wife - claimed that he was "on the verge" of agreeing a move elsewhere with talks at "an advanced stage".
And it remains eminently possible that Alves will go: he might have refused a switch to PSG, but with the money and possibilities on offer in the Premier League it's possible that another deal will be done.
