Lawrence Vigouroux ‘pays £50 fine in pennies’, Swindon terminate his loan
ByTNT Sports
Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux had his loan terminated at Swindon Town after he apparently paid a £50 fine in pennies.
Vigouroux was slapped with the fine after turning up late to training last week.
Robins manager Mark Cooper and senior players had already expressed concerns about his attitude, but - according to the Daily Mail - he still decided to meet his debt with bank bags full of pennies.
Vigouroux was impressing for the League One outfit after joining them in August, but his flagrant disregard for the rules has seemingly led to his loan spell being cut short.
The 21-year-old joined Liverpool from Tottenham last year.
