Racing punt the ball out of play. Real and Marcelo in particular are showing pointless petulance and this will be Madrid's last chance...they pump the ball into the box, but it's easily cleared and that is that. A terrible performance from Madrid, only one shot on target and they got what they deserved.

Varane punts the ball upfield, but it comes straight back and Casillas does the same...Carvalho goes down hurt after a challenge and Ariel picks up a yellow card. That was definitely not Ariel's fault - Carvalho went in just as hard.

Five minutes of stoppage time. Bit of Fergie time that seems. Not really been anything to justify so much.

Di Maria's shot is blocked, Higuain follows it up with a shot into the side netting, but he's given offside, though he wasn't remotely offside.

Kaka tries to get down the left, but this time is shrugged off the ball. Replays of that Ronaldo freekick show a quite giveable handball in the area.

Kaka goes down and it's a free kick 25 yards from goal that Ronaldo will inevitably take...it's another into the wall.

Marcelo puts in a very dangerous cross that only just evades Ronaldo's head. Racing are now starting to hang on a bit, but still there have been no clear chances.

Arbeloa tries to pass the ball back, but the ball clips off his standing foot and out for a throw to the delight of the home fans.

Varane keeps the ball in and Casillas plays it out of defence. Yet another corner and this time it's too deep for Madrid.

Diop now goes down with cramp, but he's able to play on. Adrian runs the ball out down the left and Madrid have it back.

Marcelo toe pokes an early shot from the edge of the area, which takes Tono by surprise, but it's a couple of yards wide.

Kaka hits a better delivery from the corner, but Tono still gets there to punch it away. This is the first true bit of sustained pressure from Madrid, but they still haven't created a clear cut chance.

Arbeloa goes down under what was definitely a foul, but the referee plays the advantage. The ball gets to Benzema, who goes down softly trying to win a penalty and it's rightly ignored.

The corner is palmed away by Tono and Racing break out. It quickly ends up back with Madrid though and Kaka shows he still has a bit of pace as he glides down the left touchline. His low centre is cut out by Tono for a corner. Alvaro clears at the near post.

Fantastic ball from Ronaldo on the right, but the backtracking Racing defence clear it away. A short freekick is played to Kaka, but his cross is cut out for a corner.

Ariel geos down like he's been shot after an Alonso challenge. Racing get the foul, but the ball dribbles out for a freekick.

Madrid Substitution: Diarra is replaced by Kaka.

Racing Substitution: Jairo is replaced by Adrian.

Racing for the time being continue with ten men as Kaka gets ready on the sideline.

Jairo looks in a fair bit of pain, though there didn't seem to nbe much in the Marcelo challenge. It looks to be cramp, but he won't be able to carry on...
