Real deny Beckham talks

Spanish sports daily AS said on Friday said that Beckham was demanding full control of his image rights and a substantial increase in salary during negotiations for an improved deal at the Bernabeu.
"The player has not asked for any type of improvements to his current contract which expires in 2007 and no date has been set for negotiations to start.
"David Beckham would like to make it clear he is very happy in Spain and with Real Madrid and the club would like to add that they value the player's work-rate and commitment."
The England captain signed a four-year contract with Real in 2003 after leaving Manchester United for a fee of up to 35 million euros ($41.9 million).
Real have not won a major trophy over the last two years but
Beckham has been in sparkling form at the start of the new season, helping push Real to the top of the Primera Liga for the first time in 18 months.
