Valencia snap up Mora

Former Levante goalkeeper Juan Luis Mora has agreed a three-year contract with Valencia, the Liga club said on Monday. Mora, 31, who will arrive on a free transfer subject to passing a medical, will compete with Santiago Canizares for a place in the starting lineup.

Reserve keeper Andres Palop is expected to leave during the closed season.

Mora is Valencia's third signing since the end of the leagueseason, following in the footsteps of new coach Quique Sanchez Flores and Brazilian midfielder Edu.

The signing of Dutch striker Patrick Kluivert remains on hold after a knee problem was detected during a medical last week.
