Puyol to miss run-in

Barcelona defender Carlos Puyol is likely to miss the Liga run-in after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday's 2-1 win over arch-rivals Real Madrid. Puyol - who has also had to withdraw from Spain's squad to face Italy in Wednesday's Euro 2004 warm-up - partially ruptured ligaments in his right ankle when tackled by Luis Figo and Santiago Solari.
