The Bayern Munich star was involved in another worrying incident during Tuesday's 4-2 friendly win over Heidenheim.
Musiala came on as a substitute in the 61st minute and went down just six minutes later, prompting the medical team to rush onto the pitch. He eventually left the field, escorted by a club physio.
He had also collapsed during Bayern's 3-1 friendly victory over RB Leipzig on Saturday. He scored shortly after entering the game before appearing unsteady.
The latest incident prompted fresh concern, particularly given Musiala's recent injury struggles.
The 23-year-old missed several months after suffering a fractured fibula during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and later endured an ankle setback following his return to action.
However, Musiala has now spoken publicly to explain what happened and ease fears over his condition.
”First things first – I’m doing well. I’m especially grateful for all your messages and support. I understand that many of you are worried. Today, I want to put your minds at ease and explain a little more,” Musiala wrote on Instagram.
"I'd like to alleviate those concerns today and explain something: I've been diagnosed with temporary, brief, but easily treatable absence seizures, which are due to a neurological dysfunction.
"These can lead to the recent episodes, like the one against Leipzig or now in Heidenheim."
Musiala said he is receiving medical treatment and remains optimistic about managing the condition, with Bayern and his close circle supporting him.

"I know they seem scary at first glance – but for me, they're currently just part of my everyday life. I'm receiving excellent medical treatment and am very optimistic.
"FC Bayern and my family and friends are always by my side and supporting me on this journey."
His comments come after Bayern sporting director Max Eberl sought to reassure supporters following the Leipzig incident.
”The most important thing is that he is fine. There is nothing to say about anything else.”
Musiala has also stressed that, after discussions with neurological specialists, he wants to continue living normally and pursuing his football career.
"Importantly, there are no further health risks," the former England youth international continued.
"In close consultation and regular communication with the experts, it was my personal wish to face this challenge and, with the clearance from the neurologists, to continue focusing on what helps me most in my recovery: simply living my daily life and pursuing my passion for playing football. I've taken responsibility for that.
"Overall, I have a very good feeling and I'm on the right track."
"What helps me most on this path is continuing to chase victories and titles with my team and your amazing support.
"I hope you can understand me better now. At the same time, I ask for your understanding that I would like to keep this matter within my closest circle of confidants, the club, and the experts."
