Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur UEFA Europa League final would be 'amazing', says Don Hutchison

Manchester United and Tottenham both claimed emphatic victories in their UEFA Europa League semi-final first legs on Thursday night, and TNT sports pundit Don Hutchison says the prospect of a final between the two English clubs in Bilbao is "amazing". Martin Keown called it a "gift horse" as one of the Premier League strugglers will secure UEFA Champions League football next season.

A UEFA Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham would be "amazing", according to TNT Sports pundit Don Hutchison.
An all-English final now looks very possible after Thursday's semi-final first legs, with United winning 3-0 at Athletic Bilbao and Spurs seeing off Bodo/Glimt 3-1.
The final, which will be live on TNT Sports and discovery+, is in Bilbao on May 21.
And TNT Sports pundit Hutchison said: "It could be an amazing final. The pressure is on both teams. There’s nothing else to play for, you have to go and win it.
"Especially as Ange [Postecoglou] has said he wins a trophy in his second year. He has to deliver.
"They're very fortunate, in this competition, for the first year, the Champions League sides that have dropped out haven't dropped into this competition.
"All you can do, and I think [Ruben] Amorim has said it, is you can try and beat the opposition in front of you and win a European trophy.
"And a Europa League trophy takes Spurs or Man United, if they get there, back into the Champions League, which is huge.
"The way Spurs and Man United’s season has gone, they’ve been preparing for this for months."

Another TNT Sports pundit, Martin Keown, referred to the chance United and Spurs might have to win a trophy and secure UEFA Champions League football for next season as a "gift horse".
Both teams have had terrible Premier League seasons, with United in 14th place after 15 defeats so far and Spurs in 16th place after 19 defeats.
"It’s a gift horse, isn’t it?" Keown said. "To lose 34 games between them is almost a complete Premier League season.
"But don’t worry about it, you're getting into a final, it’s all on, you can make it back into the Champions League.
"Each camp has one foot in that already, they've got to finish the job off now."
