SPURS SHOW NEW-FOUND RESILIENCE TO REACH FINAL
Goals from Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro lifted Tottenham into the Europa League final against Manchester United in Bilbao.
Tottenham have seldom shown the ability to comfortably see out victory in matches they were favoured to win this year, but this is exactly what they did in Norway, with the hosts barely threatening over the 90 minutes.
The tie was put beyond doubt just after the hour mark when Cristian Romero, a rock at the heart of the Spurs defence along with Micky van der Ven, headed down Mathys Tel's cross and Solanke turned home in front of home goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.
Within six minutes, any hopes the home fans had were totally dashed, when Pedro Porro's miss-hit cross flew over the Bodo/Glimt stopper and inside the far post. The visitors' clean sheet was confirmed in injury time when the referee amended his error via VAR after Sondre Sorli fell in the vicinity of the outstretched leg of Spurs' second scorer.
So Ange Postecoglou, after the most bruising domestic league campaign, has the opportunity to once more win a trophy in his second season - and deliver Tottenham's first in 17 years.

Postecoglou says Spurs have 'grown in maturity' after reaching Europa final

Ange Postecoglou credited his side's professionalism as they progressed to the Europa League Final.
"I couldn't be prouder of the lads, we knew it was a difficult place to come," Postecoglou said on TNT Sports.
"We were well aware of their record and the pitch but we've grown in the majority through this competition. They understood exactly what was required and that's why we won the game.
"We knew they'd have to come out more in the second half and that's where we hit them.
"We're used to adversity, we've used nearly every member of the squad, but it helps that we've got some players back and we've handled every knockout tie."
WHO WILL SAVE THEIR SEASON?

IT WAS A CROSS - PORRO
After joking with Dominic Solanke, Pedro Porro admitted the killer second goal was a fluke.
"It was a cross," Pedro Porro said on TNT Sports.
"We said before a clean sheet was the most important thing and we did that."

GOAL! BODO/GLIMT 0-2 TOTTENHAM (PORRO)
What a freak goal. Pedro Porro was attempting a cross from the right flank but his miscued cross caught out Haikin flying over his head and into the far corner.
