Focus is firmly on domestic and European duties with Manchester City for Phil Foden, but he also has half an eye on international success with England. The forward believes Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham could be key to success for The Three Lions and he is relishing the prospect of teaming up with Bellingham on the international stage and leading England to glory.

'Jude is such a special talent' - Foden lauds 'complete player' Bellingham

Phil Foden has admitted his dream scenario is to play alongside Jude Bellingham and lead England to international glory.
England have come up short at recent tournaments, notably reaching the last four of the 2018 World Cup and losing in the final of Euro 2020.
Gareth Southgate is still at the helm and as well as a core of experienced stars, he has young talents such as Foden and Bellingham at his disposal.
At 23, Foden is three years older than the Real Madrid star. But such is the talent Bellingham possesses, he is seen as a key player for Southgate at international level.
Foden has never seen a player develop as quickly as Bellingham, and wants to combine with him to lead The Three Lions to a tournament success.
“Jude is such a special talent,” Foden told Joe Cole ahead of Manchester City's clash with Everton, live on TNT Sports on Saturday. “I have never seen someone so young and so developed, so early.
“When you look at some that need a bit of time around the first team and to learn the game.
“When I saw Jude it was like he was a complete player straight away.”
Foden feels Bellingham is key to any future success for England.
“It is nice to share the field with him at the national team,” Foden said. “If we are going to win anything we need Jude at his best.
"Jude is a special player and he is doing really well at Real Madrid.
“Hopefully we can play together and try and win things for England, that would be the dream.”

'Nobody can play the way he does' - Foden says it's a 'pleasure' to play alongside De Bruyne

Foden admitted one of his lowest points in football was defeat to Italy in the final of Euro 2020.
“My dream now is to win something with the national team,” he said. “Being so close when we got to the Euros finals, it was one of my hardest days in football but the lads now have got the belief that we can go far in tournaments, and we have the belief in the squad.
“So, hopefully, next tournament we can repeat that and get the job done in the final.”
