Anyway, what a game and what a performance that was. Thanks for your company - night.
So Croatia win the group; their second round opponents are yet to be determined. Spain will meet Italy on Monday, in Paris; alright then, we'll take it. And because Turkey beat Czech Republic, but not by four goals, Northern Ireland are through too.

FULL-TIME: CROATIA 2-1 SPAIN!

David Silva dances across the box yet again, but he takes himself wide of goal to the left, swivelling to drive across goal - which Versaljko intercepts with an almighty lunge!

Change for Croatia: Cop for Pjaca - what a good game he's had.

There shall be three added minutes.

This has been an absolute football lesson from Croatia. Not for Spain, who have matched them in most aspects, but for us watching - and for the various coaches in this competition. Intensity, enterprise, conviction and toughness. Superb stuff.

GOAL! Croatia 2-1 Spain (Perisic). And don't they deserve it! Immediately following that blocked shot, Croatia nash upfield as one, Rakitic finding Kalinic who slips outside for Perisic. He drills a saveable effort at the near post - it takes a slight deflection - and De Gea goes with his feet, poking it into the side-netting. Italy v Spain in Paris on Monday!
87'
Lovely from Spain, into Bruno into Iniesta, who's first-time touch finds Aduriz - his shot is blocked by Srna - obviously.

Things have slowed in the last five minutes. Both sides still fancy winning, neither is quite committing to it as earlier.

Last change for Spain: off goes Fabregas, who's done nothing in the second half; on comes Thiago.

Change for Croatia: Kovacic comes on for Rog.

Since going behind, Croatia have been close to perfect. Spain have created a few things, sure, but that'd happen against any team. On the other hand, more or less no other team has would have the gumption to get into them with this kind of intensity, defend with this kind of organisation, and attack with this kind of variety and conviction.
78'
Super cross from Juanfran, but Corluka does just enough in largely missing it to put off Aduriz, just behind him. From the corner, Silva picks out Ramos, who gets under it and heads high.
77'
Juanfran underhits a ball back to Pique, and Perisic is after it - but Pique arrives first. Just.
76'
So, who has what left? Croatia need a win to top the group and they're going for it.
73'
What self-respecting attacker lets Ramos take a penalty?

In the kerfuffle after the award of the penalty, Vrsljko was booked for dissent.
