Dele Alli banned for three matches by UEFA
Dele Alli has been handed a three match ban by UEFA for his challenge on Gent's Brecht Dejaegere in the Europa League.
The challenge came during the second leg of Spurs' Europa League match against Gent at Wembley, when Alli lunged in on Dejaegere and was shown a straight red.
He was widely criticised for the challenge and UEFA have banned him for three European matches.
However as Spurs are now out of the Europa League it means that he will banned for the first three games of next season regardless of which European competition Spurs qualify for.
Elsewhere UEFA have fined Arsenal €5,000 for a pitch invasion and Bayern Munich €3,000 for their fans throwing objects onto the pitch during the recent 5-1 win for Bayern at the Emirates.
