De Boer and Hodgson linked with Swansea job
Frank de Boer and Roy Hodgson are the latest names to be linked with the Swansea manager's job after Bob Bradley's departure.
Reports suggest that De Boer, the former Inter coach, has already rejected an approach from the club.
Hodgson was identified as the leading candidate for the vacancy by the Sun - even though Welshmen Ryan Giggs and Chris Coleman were both being widely touted for the role, with Alan Pardew, recently sacked by Crystal Palace, also in the mix.
"Swansea’s American majority owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan have an open mind over who to appoint next," reported the Sun.
"They are understood to be keen to speak to Hodgson, 69, who is desperate to return [to management] after quitting as England boss following the national side’s humiliation at Euro 2016.
"Swansea’s owners, fearing relegation, are leaning towards an experienced manager to get the club out of trouble."
