David Beckham adds to tattoo collection courtesy of daughter Harper
Well, it was about time. David Beckham has finally paid tribute to one of his daughter’s favourite movie characters with a tattoo.
Beckham’s three-year-old daughter Harper did well to find a spot on her dad’s torso without an existing tattoo, but there was indeed space – phew! - for a Minion.
Victoria shared the results of Harper’s addition, which must have been a temporary tattoo, posting a close-up photo on Instagram.
“Harper has just added to Daddie’s tattoo collection x happy Tuesday in the sunshine! X vb,” she wrote on the social-media platform.
The Minion, who is currently starring on the big screen, now has a proud spot on Beckham’s body thanks to the three-year-old.
The temporary tattoo now sits next to the former England captain’s permanent tribute to his late grandfather, Joe West, with an image of Christ based on Catholic artists Matthew R. Brooks’s The Man Of Sorrows painting inked along his side.
Beckham does, of course, already have tattoos dedicated to each of his four children – Harper and his three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
Harper’s name is inked above her father’s collarbone, while his famous first tattoo was of Brooklyn’s name across his lower back, which he had produced back in 1999.
