Chelsea beat Manchester United 3-0 on Sunday at Wembley Stadium to win the Women’s FA Cup and complete their domestic treble.
Chelsea are champions of the WSL after going through the season unbeaten, and with Sunday’s win against United they ensured they also went undefeated in the FA Cup.
The two teams looked poised to go into the tunnel at the end of half-time with the match at a stalemate, only for Chelsea to win a late penalty.
Celin Bizet made contact with Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert, bringing the Scottish international down in the process, and the Blues had a chance to go in front.
Sandy Baltimore stepped up to fire her effort into the bottom-left corner on the stroke of the break.
Chelsea grew into the game as they looked to press home their advantage, and towards the end of the second period they were able to turn the screw.

Both sides had chances in the second half, but the game was only made safe for Chelsea when Catarina Macario headed Baltimore’s free-kick home past Phallon Tullis-Joyce on 84 minutes.
With 10 minutes of added time indicated, there was still a slight chance United might pull off a famous comeback, but Baltimore popped up again, this time moving away from Lisa Naalsund to fire in her second.
Having already won the WSL and League Cup, Sonia Bompastor’s debut season in charge of Chelsea has landed her a domestic treble, with their only disappointment coming with defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final stage.
Next season, the 2025/26 Women's FA Cup will be broadcast on TNT Sports and discovery+.
