Newcastle will look to build momentum in the Champions League on Tuesday as they host Benfica, aiming for consecutive wins in the competition for the first time since February 2003.
The Magpies responded from an opening 2-1 home defeat to Barcelona with a convincing 4-0 victory at Union Saint-Gilloise. Now in their second Champions League campaign in three years, Eddie Howe's men are pushing for a first-ever knockout stage appearance.
Benfica, meanwhile, travel to Tyneside having picked up a 2-0 win over Chaves in the Taca de Portugal under manager Jose Mourinho, who is relishing his trip to the stadium he affectionately calls 'Mr Robson's home'.
Mourinho shadowed Sir Bobby Robson as an interpreter and assistant for five years in the 1990s - first at Sporting, then Porto before enjoying success with Barcelona - so it will be an emotional moment when he walks past the bust of the former Newcastle manager in the players' entrance.
This is strictly business, however, for Mourinho, who arrives in search of a fourth win at St James' Park in his managerial career.
Benfica are still to record their first Champions League point this season, following back-to-back defeats to Qarabag and Chelsea. History is not on their side either - the Portuguese giants have won just once in their last nine away games against English opposition in European competition (with three draws and five losses).
