Arsenal hearts were broken at the semi-final stage as Paris Saint-Germain booked their place in this season's UEFA Champions League final.
A 2-1 win at the Parc des Princes wrapped up a 3-1 aggregate victory for the French giants, and now they are set for a mouthwatering clash with Serie A giants Inter in Munich on Saturday.
The Parisians have come close to winning Europe's elite competition before, but something feels different this time around.
They have assembled a well-balanced squad with a fine blend of youth and experience that has stood toe-to-toe with every team put before them.
Ahead of their ultimate test, we felt the time was right to look back at the club's record in European finals...
1996: Cup Winners' Cup triumph
PSG became only the second French side to win a major European competition when they came out on top in the 1996 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final.
Bruno Ngotty's goal sealed a 1-0 victory over SK Rapid Wien in Brussels.
It was a remarkable achievement in the club's first appearance in a European final, but it also meant they would face Champions League winners Juventus in the 1996 UEFA Super Cup.
PSG would ultimately fall to a 9-2 aggregate defeat against their far more experienced Italian opponents.

1997: Heartbreak in Rotterdam
PSG secured back-to-back UEFA Cup Winners' Cup finals in 1997, but it was a different story the second time around.
They fell to a 1-0 loss against Barcelona in Rotterdam, with Ronaldo scoring the decisive goal from the penalty spot.
There was no shame in defeat against Sir Bobby Robson's star-studded side, though.
The Barca team that night also featured the likes of Luis Figo and Pep Guardiola.
2020: So close but so far
PSG made their first-ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League final in 2020.
However, it was an evening to forget for the Ligue 1 side as they were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich in a fixture played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kingsley Coman scored the winner in a closely fought affair in Lisbon.
Luis Enrique's side will have the chance to avenge the defeat when they go head-to-head with Inter in this season's final on May 31.
