MATCH REPORT
Madrid came into their Champions League clash with Milan as the hot favourites to storm to victory, but it turned into a nightmare evening for Ancelotti's side as they suffered a shock defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Italian giants had an early goal cancelled out by Vinicius Jr from the penalty spot, but responded superbly to score two more and clinch a fine win.

MADRID LOSE AGAIN AS MILAN SEAL EMPHATIC WIN
Real Madrid suffered their second defeat in the UEFA Champions League this season as AC Milan claimed a stunning 3-1 win at the Bernabeu.
Alvaro Morata returned to the Spanish capital to haunt his old side again, while Vinicius Junior’s penalty was not enough as goals from Malick Thiaw and Tijjani Reijnders earned the Italians a huge three points.
Madrid fell behind for the third consecutive game - which has included two ties in the Champions League - when Milan took the lead through Thiaw’s header, who found space in between over Aurelien Tchouameni and Eder Militao to net his first goal for the club.
It did not take long for Madrid to strike back through Vinicius from the spot, who drew a penalty from Emerson Royal’s clumsy challenge. The Brazilian notably stepped up to take the penalty instead of Kylian Mbappe, before clipping it down the middle.
There would be more drama before the break, though, as Morata popped up to fire his new team back in front. Rafael Leao’s strike was saved by Andriy Lunin, but Morata was the only player on alert as he reacted quickly enough to poke home his seventh goal against his old side.
Milan silenced the Bernabeu with a third goal through Reijnders for an astonishing two-goal cushion, and while Madrid threw everything at the away side in search of a comeback in the latter stages, it was not to be as Paulo Fonseca’s side held on for a memorable victory.

End of 2nd Half
90'+7
FULL-TIME
Madrid suffer their second defeat in four Champions League games, but what a performance from AC Milan! A magnificent night for the Italians.
Real Madrid 1-3 AC Milan
90'+6
PLAY PAUSED
Abraham has taken an absolute thunderbolt from Mbappe in the face and needs to be checked.
He looks like he'll be ok though.
90'+4
MILITAO FIRES OVER!
Madrid always get opportunities in these games, but it really isn't their day.
They force another good chance and Militao is free in the box to fire a volley towards goal, but he sends it miles over.
Again, the chances have been there...
90'+2
WHAT A SAVE!
Or is that a really, really bad miss from Brahim Diaz?
He is all alone in the box as he latches onto a cross from the left, but he sends a header straight at Maignan who uses a strong right hand to keep it out.
Madrid have had the chances in the last few minutes, it's just not coming off!

SIX MINUTES ADDED TIME
Not long now for Milan to hang on...

VINI SENDS A HEADER WIDE
He gets on the end of a cross, totally unmarked in the six-yard box, but guides it wide.
That's a huge miss from the Ballon d'Or runner-up.

MILAN SHOULD HAVE FOUR!
Madrid are cut open yet again as Hernandez finds Loftus-Cheek in the box, who thumps a close-range effort at Lunin!
It's a good save from the goalkeeper, but the former Chelsea man should really do better!
84'
NO GOAL!
Wow! VAR has chalked it off because of an offside in the build-up. It looked as though he was millimetres offside when Ceballos initially put the cross in.
Milan keep their two-goal cushion.
82'
VAR IS HAVING A LOOK...
There are calls for offside.

GOAL!!! - REAL MADRID 2-3 AC MILAN (RUDIGER)
There's one back for the home side!
Rudiger thumps a half-volley into an almost empty net after Maignan punches Ceballos' delivery clear.

RODRYGO BENDS ONE...
He does well to find space on the edge of a packed Milan box, before curling an effort into the arms of Maignan.
A bright start from the substitute.

RODRYGO COMES ON
There's not much longer for Madrid to salvage something from this, but you never write them off in this competition...
He replaces Bellingham, as Francisco Garcia comes on for Ferland Mendy.

GOAL!!! - REAL MADRID 1-3 AC MILAN (REIJNDERS)
Madrid are in deep, deep trouble at the Bernabeu!
Leao darts down the right flank which has been a problem for Madrid all night. He finds Reijnders in the box who is totally free, as the midfielder spins on the spot before firing home a third for Milan.
