Thomas Tuchel: Rio Ferdinand says German will have 'big offers' after Bayern Munich exit - 'World is his oyster'

Thomas Tuchel has had a rollercoaster season as Bayern Munich manager, with a disastrous Bundesliga campaign resulting in the announcement that he will depart at the end of the season. However, with a place in the UEFA Champions League final still up for grabs, Rio Ferdinand told TNT Sports that Tuchel will get "offers from big clubs" this summer after Manchester United links.

Thomas Tuchel will “have big offers” when he departs Bayern Munich this summer, according to Rio Ferdinand, while “the world will be his oyster” if the German wins the UEFA Champions League.
Former Chelsea manager Tuchel will leave Bayern at the end of the season after a disastrous Bundesliga campaign where they ceded the title to Bayer Leverkusen.
However, Tuchel could yet lead the club to European glory for the first time in four years, with his side heading into Wednesday’s semi-final second leg away to Real Madrid tied at 2-2.
Tuchel was linked with the Manchester United job this week, with Erik ten Hag’s position looking ever-more uncertain, and TNT Sports expert Ferdinand would not be surprised if the German receives offers from big clubs.
“I think he’s still got enough in the tank that no matter what happens (against Real Madrid), he will still have some big offers,” Ferdinand said.
“If he gets to the final and manages to get his hands on the trophy, the world is his oyster again.

“He can say what he wants, do what he wants and he will be able to walk away from Bayern Munich with his head held high.”

SCHOLES HAILS kroos as 'cleverest midfielder'

A clash with Borussia Dortmund awaits the winner, after the Bundesliga side sealed a 2-0 aggregate win against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Key to Real Madrid’s hopes of winning a record-extending 15th European crown will be playmaker Toni Kroos, who starred in the first leg for the Spaniards.
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes explained what makes the Germany international so special, especially in the big games.
“He’s amazing. And a game like tonight is something that needs a Toni Kroos,” Scholes told TNT Sports.

“I was watching (Dortmund v PSG) last night, and it was 100 miles per hour, I was thinking this game needs a Toni Kroos to come and slow it down – I thought the TV was on fast forward!
“It’s the way he plays, these positions, the little passes round the corner, he makes angles, he tells people where to pass it without actually speaking to them.
“He controls and dictates all of the game. He’s the cleverest midfield player out there.
“He’s the most experienced, he’s been there and done it. These big games need a calm head and he’s got the calm head to control everyone.”
