Manchester United kick off their Champions League campaign with an away trip to Bayern Munich on September 20.
The Champions League group stages begin on Tuesday, September 19.
Erik ten Hag’s men will travel to Germany after securing Champions League involvement with a third-placed finish last season, and take on the Bundesliga champions, with whom they share famous European football history.
Bayern and United met in Barcelona in 1999 as United secured a 2-1 victory and the Treble under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Also on the same night, Arsenal celebrate their return to football’s premier club competition by hosting PSV Eindhoven.
Real Madrid, the tournament’s most successful team, will take on Union Berlin - making their bow in the competition - at the Bernabeu.
On September 19, current holders - and Treble winners - Manchester City will play host to Crvena Zvezda, while Newcastle United will travel to AC Milan.
In perhaps the pick of the opening day fixtures, Paris Saint-Germain welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Parc des Princes.
This is the last year that the Champions League will be played under its current format, with a new setup for the 2024/25 season.
The group-stage format will be expanded from 32 teams to 36, and those teams will play at least eight games, with most clubs to play 10 fixtures.
The final in 2025 will be hosted at Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena, while the final game this season will take place on Saturday, June 1 at Wembley Stadium in London.
