Milan 0-2 Arsenal (Arsenal win 2-0 on aggregate)
Carlo Ancelotti: "Arsenal are a strong team and played with great courage. Arsenal managed the ball better and put a lot of pressure on our midfield and did not allow us to play as we wanted. I think Arsenal have shown they have the qualities to reach the final of the Champions League."
Arsene Wenger: "We dominated the game and didn't make any mistakes and we were creative and not scared to go forward. We produced the match we wanted to. I am very proud. It is wonderful for a young team to knock out a team such as AC Milan. It is good for the future."
Manchester United 1-0 Lyon (United win 2-1 on aggregate)
Alex Ferguson: "We should have made more of our chances and possession. We made life difficult for ourselves. But we are into the next round which was the objective before the game. Some nervousness came in, because we didn't take the chances and kill the game - so we were on a knife edge."
Alain Perrin: "You cannot argue with the fact that Manchester United deserved to go through over the two legs, even if our effort perhaps deserved more than we got. I think the late goal in the first leg influenced this match."
Barcelona 1-0 Celtic (Barcelona win 4-2 on aggregate)
Frank Rijkaard: "We started the game very well and scored a goal which was important. It was a beautiful goal from Xavi and he is an important player for us. After that Celtic came back and played with confidence and gave us a difficult time."
Gordon Strachan: "After playing AC Milan last season and now Barcelona, I know we can progress. I'm sure the players agree after coming up against Barcelona, the potential Champions League winners. They will not be demoralised. They need to trust themselves and free ourselves from worry, thinking of what might happen instead of making it happen. There was too much thinking, sometimes you need to play from the heart."
Sevilla 3-2 Fenerbahce (5-5 on aggregate, Fenerbahce win 3-2 on penalties)
Manolo Jimenez: "Perhaps it is a failing we have that we don't know how to play when the result is in our favour. The team always wants to press forward and our opponents cause us a lot of problems with counter-attacks. And we seem to have a mental block when it comes to defending set pieces. This is starting to be costly. We need to work to overcome it."
Zico: "We have learned from our mistakes a lot and now Fenerbahce players are all experienced enough to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. We fought and worked really hard to win today. We all knew that it was going to be a very tough game, but we won it and that what matters to me. I thank my players for this very precious gift."
