Bayer Leverkusen's draw with Freiburg meant the celebrations could begin in Munich, with Bayern crowned Bundesliga champions. And no one will be happier than Harry Kane, whose elusive search for a major trophy is finally over. The England international is the Bundesliga's top scorer for a second season running and has netted 36 goals in all competitions.

Harry Kane has finally won the first major title of his career at the age of 31 after Bayern Munich were crowned Bundesliga champions.
Vincent Kompany's side were left frustrated on Saturday, conceding an injury-time equaliser against RB Leizpig to draw 3-3 and postpone the celebrations.
Bayern had trailed 2-0 at half-time, but produced a stirring comeback thanks to goals from Eric Dier, Michael Olise and Leroy Sane. However, Yussuf Poulsen levelled late on as Kane, suspended for picking up five yellow cards, watched on.
That meant there was still a slim chance that Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen could defend their crown.
Only a win would have kept the title race alive heading into the final two weeks, but Leverkusen drew 2-2 against UEFA Champions League hopefuls Freiburg on Sunday.
And that was confirmation that Kane's long wait for silverware had come to an end. The England striker, despite being consistently prolific, never won a trophy during his 13-year spell with Tottenham.

He joined Bayern in 2023 but his first season in Bavaria was another trophyless one under Thomas Tuchel, despite more individual success.
Kane has excelled again this season, scoring 24 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances, on course for yet another Golden Boot.
But a Bundesliga title winner's medal will likely be far sweeter than any individual accolade for a player who had previously lost in seven finals for club and country.
Kane commented last month on the "noise" surrounding his absence of trophies.

"We have another opportunity this year to win some trophies, and that would be incredible, and maybe that would stop that noise around me a little bit," he told ESPN.
"But, I think in football in general, you're always going to have people who doubt you, people who criticise you.
"The most important thing is that you know what you're trying to achieve, your team-mates respect you for how you work and the club respect you and the fans respect you, and that's ultimately who I care about."
Bayern have lost just twice in the Bundesliga so far this season, racking up 76 points with two games still to play.
