Manchester City made light work of Aston Villa to restore their six-point buffer at the top of the Women's Super League (WSL), while Chelsea also bounced back on Sunday.
Khadija Shaw struck four times in a 6-1 thumping at Joie Stadium, as Aoba Fujino and Vivianne Miedema were also on target on a comfortable afternoon for the league leaders.
Shaw put City ahead in the 37th minute with her 100th goal for the club, bursting into the box and getting on the end of Miedema's cross to poke home.
She added a second on the stroke of half-time when she picked the ball up in the box and expertly beat Anna Patten before slotting past Sabrina D'Angelo.
Fujino finished off an end-to-end move on the hour mark to score City's third, benefitting from a slight deflection to all but wrap up the three points.
Lucy Parker pulled a goal back for Villa as the match entered its final stages, but Miedema - who had already registered two assists on the day - got among the goals with a close-range tap-in.
Shaw claimed her hat-trick with six minutes to play, slipping the ball through D'Angelo's legs after a mazy run, before adding a fourth in the dying seconds with a scrappy finish.
The win meant that Man City regained their six-point lead at the top of the WSL after Arsenal had briefly cut their lead to five with victory over Everton on Saturday.
Chelsea down Brighton
City, on 30 points, lead Chelsea, who racked up 24 points with a comfortable 3-0 win over Brighton.
Sandy Baltimore opened the scoring for The Blues just before half-time with a fine strike, lofting the ball over Sophie Baggaley's head from the corner of the penalty box.
A Caitlin Hayes own goal gifted Chelsea a second when she headed into her own net, before Alyssa Thompson slotted a third into the bottom-left corner.

Spurs fumble to share points in six-goal thriller
It was a frantic encounter between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, who drew 3-3 at Leigh Sports Village.
Spurs took a dream 3-0 lead thanks to first-half goals from Bethany England and Eveliina Summanen, before Martha Thomas added a third on 62 minutes.
But United fought hard, getting a goal back through Ella Toone, before Fridolina Rolfo found a second with eight minutes of normal time to play.
In the dying seconds, the Swedish striker scored her second of the match to salvage a point for United, who sit in fourth place and nine points adrift of leaders Man City.
