Great Britain and New Zealand had already booked their ticket to this summer's Olympic Games with wins over Belgium and South Africa, respectively.

In the 9th/10th place playoff, Tomasz Choczaj, Dariusz Rachwalski, Slawomir Choczaj and Krzysztof Kmiec scored the goals for Poland while Malaysians Chua Boon Huat and Tajol Rosli Mohamad scored either side of half time.

Connor Grimes, Ravinder Kahlon and Ken Pereira help Canada finish in 11th place with early strikes, but Japan's Takahiko Yamabori and Naohiko Tobita kept things interesting late on.
