Team GB's Becky Moody, Carl Hester, Charlotte Frey qualify for equestrian dressage individual and team Olympics finals

Team GB will have medal opportunities in the equestrian dressage at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Becky Moody on Jagerbomb, Carl Hester on Fame and Charlotte Fry on Glamourdale all secured their places in the individual final (grand prix freestyle). Great Britain also qualified in third for the team final (grand prix special) with 231.196 points, behind Germany and Denmark.

Great Britain enjoyed a strong qualifying session in the equestrian dressage at the Paris Olympics as all three riders secured their places in the individual final, while also reaching the team final.
Becky Moody on Jagerbomb won her group with a score of 74.938.
Carl Hester on Fame and Charlotte Fry on Glamourdale didn’t secure automatic top-two qualifying places in their groups, but their scores were good enough to earn places in the individual final (grand prix freestyle).
Great Britain qualified for the team final (grand prix special) with 231.196 points behind Germany, who scored 237.546 points, and Denmark, who scored 235.730 points.
The team final is on Saturday, August 3 and the individual final is on Sunday, August 4.
Hester will be aiming for his second dressage gold following victory 12 years ago in London.
Riding on Fame, he scored 77.345 points which saw him finish in third place in the first group.
Fry, who won team bronze in Tokyo with Hester, came third in Group E with a score of 78.913 points.
Moody and Jagerbomb topped their group with a score of 74.938 points to secure their place in the final.
Germany's world No. 1 Jessica von Bredow-Werndl recorded the highest score of 82.065 points.
