POST-RACE INTERVIEW - STAGE SIX WINNER EVITA MUZIC
"I said it [before the race about attacking Vollering in the final metres] but I was not 100 per cent sure that I could do it. When I saw I was the only one on the wheel with Vollering I was just focusing on not getting dropped and after I passed her. I'm very proud of what I have done because all of girls in my team did a really good job all of the race to keep me in the first position and did the lead out. Also in the first part of the climb they were amazing so it's also for them.
"It means a lot. I often finish fourth like in La Flèche Wallonne and also yesterday and last year in the two climbing stages of La Vuelta Femenina. I really wanted one big victory and now I have and I think now I will be more confident in myself. Sometimes I'm too kind and I always start the climb a bit far but I always I have the legs, and now I've shown that to everyone.
"The GC, it will be hard for the victory, but I will try to win again more places and why not again one more victory!"

MUZIC WINS!
WOW! What a climb! Vollering second, Kastelijn third. Markus takes fourth.
It's Muzic's fifth career win with an incredible effort in the final metres to not only stick with Vollering, but overtake her before the line. Mention must go to team-mate Brown as well as the rest of their FDJ-SUEZ team for a well-deserved stage win. Muzic timed her attack perfectly to overtaken Vollering in the final 75 metres to win with a two-second gap.
