Passeron gets Burgos stage

Frenchman Aurelien Passeron won the third stage of the Vuelta a Burgos, while Colombian Juan Mauricio Soler stayed in the overall lead.

The Acqua & Sapone rider was strongest in a breakaway group of seven and he was able to get to the line before Aivaras Baranauskas of Ag2R and Chocolade Jacques rider Tom Stubbe.
The stage was a 158km trek from the city of Burgos to Aranda de Duero.
Soler, who won yesterday's second stage, remains 17 seconds in front of Jose Angel Gomez in the overall General Classification.
The Barloworld rider is looking to continue the fine form which saw him capture the King of the Moutains title at the Tour de France.
