Seasoned French rider Jérôme Gilloux showcased his veteran skills, adding another triumph to his illustrious career. Meanwhile, Austria's Anna Spielmann clinched her maiden UCI World Cup victory, displaying prowess on the challenging Catalonian circuit. The showdown unfolded against a backdrop of intense racing, setting the stage for Spielmann's breakthrough performance and Gilloux's masterful demonstration of experience and talent.
Preceding the Barcelona event, the overall classification had already seen confirmation in Girona, Spain. Justine Tonso and Jérôme Gilloux, teammates at Lapierre Overvolt, asserted their dominance with consistent form throughout the season. This dynamic French duo secured victories in both individual and team classifications, a remarkable achievement even for Gilloux as he clinched another consecutive title.

3. Théo Charmes (FRA), 127

Despite a stellar start, Ryf's hopes were dashed in the final heat due to a snapped chain, denying him a victory in Castelldefels. However, his second-place finish in the overall standings remained secure.
Mirko Tabacchi of RDR Italia Factory claimed the second spot in Barcelona, contributing 20 points but falling short of breaking into the overall top 5. Notably, Spanish riders made their mark with Guillem Cassu Cantin (Bafang Factory Team) clinching third for his inaugural podium, followed by compatriot Jofre Cullell Estape (BH Coloma Team) in fourth. Jeroen van Eck (Ghost Racing Team) from the Netherlands maintained his consistent form, concluding the season with a fifth-place finish.

In the pursuit, Swiss rider Nathalie Schneitter (Trek Bosch) in her rainbow jersey steadily closed in on Wiedenroth, ultimately securing second place. Schneitter's 20 points played a crucial role in maintaining her fourth position overall, fending off Spielmann's challenge to overtake her. Wiedenroth, representing Specialized, secured the third spot, earning 16 points that solidified her second place in the overall standings. Justine Tonso finished fourth, adding 13 valuable points to her tally.
Germany's Antonia Daubermann (Advanced E-Racing) rounded out the top five on her debut season, accumulating 11 points and securing a commendable third place in the overall standings. Tonso's impressive six victories in 2023 built a formidable overall score, but it was her determination in the season's culmination that secured the overall title ahead of the hard-charging Sofia Wiedenroth. With victories in race n. 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12, the 23-year-old established a winning lead before the climactic final round in Barcelona.
