Tadej Pogacar is cycling’s undisputed superstar.
Since exploding onto the scene at the 2020 Tour de France - snatching yellow from Primoz Roglic in one of the sport’s most dramatic finales - Pogacar has been the man to beat.
Now the reigning world champion, he has proven he can do it all. He battles the likes of Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert in the biggest one-day races, while he goes toe-to-toe with Jonas Vingegaard at the Tour de France on some of the world's toughest climbs. And increasingly, he is not just winning - he’s making history.
In 2024, Pogacar joined Eddy Merckx and Stephen Roche as only the third rider to win the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and World Championship road race in the same season.
At just 26 years old, he is already a generational great. And there is still plenty more to come.
This summer, he is hunting another Tour de France crown, eyeing a fourth yellow jersey, after another hugely impressive Spring Classics campaign. So how has Pogacar fared in 2025? How many Monuments has he won? What’s his Grand Tour record? Let’s take a look.

What is Tadej Pogacar's record in 2025?

Pogacar kicked off his 2025 season with a dominant win at the UAE Tour, including victories on both climbing stages.
He carried that form into the Spring Classics. So far this year, the Slovenian hasn’t finished outside the top three in any one-day race.
He opened his Classics campaign with victory at Strade Bianche, dropping Tom Pidcock after recovering from a crash. He’s still chasing a first win at Milano-Sanremo, though. For the fourth straight year, he finished in the top five, this time outgunned by Mathieu van der Poel and Filippo Ganna in the final sprint.
Two weeks later, Pogacar returned fire with a dominant ride at the Tour of Flanders, securing his second victory on the cobbles and getting the better of Van der Poel.
His debut at Paris-Roubaix could have been historic too - until a crash while overcooking a corner gave Van der Poel the opening to ride away. He still took second. And at Amstel Gold, another runner-up finish came after Danish rider Mattias Skjelmose produced the ride of his life to pip Pogacar and Remco Evenepoel.
But that 'drought' lasted just two races as Pogacar hit back to win La Fleche Wallonne for a second time.
He followed that up with the third Liege-Bastogne-Liege win of his career at the end of April.

How many Monuments has Tadej Pogacar won?

Tadej Pogacar has won nine Monuments: Liege-Bastogne-Liege (three times), Tour of Flanders (two times) and Il Lombardia (four times).
Incredibly, out of 18 Monument starts, Pogacar has finished outside the top five just three times - one of which was a crash at Liege in 2023 that left him with a fractured wrist.
He still needs Milano-Sanremo and Paris-Roubaix to complete the full set, a feat only Rik Van Looy, Eddy Merckx and Roger De Vlaeminck have achieved.
