Here's the moment Niki Terpstra ensured his first ever win in the Ronde van Vlaanderen.
0km
Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) holds on for second place before defending champion Philippe Gilbert ensures Quick-Step have two riders on the podium by out-sprinting Michael Valgren (Astana) for third. Greg van Avermaet (BMC) wins the sprint in the chasing pack for fifth.
0km
Victory for Niki Terpstra (Quick-Step Floors) who crosses the line with his arms aloft.
1km
Under the Flamme Rouge for our lone leader, who will now start to believe that the victory is his. After years of being the bridesmaid in Flanders, the Dutchman now has his win.
2km
The gap is down to 20 seconds over Pedersen and 32 seconds over the chasers - but the victory is Terpstra's now.
3km
Three to go now for Terpstra, who can almost start to sit up and soak up the atmosphere... Will he do a Gilbert and carry his bike across the line?
4km
The chasers have Pedersen in their sights, which would be sad because the Dane really deserves a runner-up spot today after his attacking ride.
5km
Lone leader Terpstra zips under the 5-to-go banner and his gap is still 40 seconds over the chasers. It will take something terrible to stop him now.
6km
Terpstra, with spittle all over his chin, is writing himself into the history books today. He has 22 seconds over Pedersen and 40 seconds over the Sagan chasing group, who will be sprinting for third place.
8km
Sagan has been caught by the other chasers and it's really game over now - save for a mechanical. Terpstra has 30 seconds to play with - but the chasing pack is now starting to work well together, so who knows.
10km
Terpstra was third last year and second in 2015 so it's not as if his victory today will have come from nothing - and really underlines Quick-Step's strength in depth.
11km
Terpstra has 12 seconds on Pedersen and 30 seconds on Sagan, who leads a select group of chasers by a handful of seconds. So it looks like it's going to be a double Dutch day of success in Flanders after Anna van der Breggen's earlier win in the women's race.
12km
Sagan has ridden clear of his rivals after the summit. He needs to reel in both Pedersen and Terpstra or settle for the final rung on the podium.
13km
Van Baarle is caught by the main chasers as they hit the Paterberg - and it's Benoot and Sagan who are driving the pace. Terpstra has opened up a bigger gap over Pedersen on the climb, and it's Sagan who crests the summit ahead of Vanmarcke, Benoot, Gilbert, Van Avermaet and Stybar about 30 seconds back.
14km
Just the Paterberg to go now for our lone leader, Niki Terpstra. He has 35 seconds to play with and Pedersen still in pursuit.
16km
Benoot gesticulates wildly to his fellow chasers on the tarmacked road following the penultimate climb - he's fed up doing all the work. And as he drops back, Sagan puts in a big dig. But 40 seconds up the road, Terpstra is looking very, very strong here for Quick-Step.
17km
Van Aert, Naesen, Valgren and Stuyven make the connection as the chasing pack explodes near the summit - but Kwiatkowski and Lampaert appear to have cracked.
18km
Back with the main chasing pack and it's Benoot driving the pace ahead of Van Avermaet, Vanmarcke, Styber, Gilbert, Sagan and Kristoff...
18km
Terpstra catches the leaders and only Pedersen can stick with him as Van Baarle and Langeveld fade fast behind.
19km
We're onto the Oude Kwaremont now - and Terpstra has the leading trio in his sights. No surprise...
