Jan Tratnik wins ‘breathless’ Omloop: ‘What a ride, what a team!’

Jan Tratnik fought off competition from UAE Team Emirates rider Nils Politt to snatch victory at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad race in Belgium. The Visma-Lease a Bike rider claimed his maiden Classic victory on Saturday and became the first Slovenian to win the historic race. Visma-Lease A Bike’s Wout van Aert finished in third behind Politt.
