Men's limited-overs internationals will be used to trial a 'stop-clock' in a bid to limit the time between overs. The new technology will be featured when England come up against West Indies in the T20 series in the Caribbean, live on TNT Sports. Bowling teams face a five-run penalty if they take longer than a minute to begin a new over for the third time in a single innings.

The “stop-clock” trialled in England's One Day International series against the West Indies will be rolled out when the two teams meet in five T20 internationals, starting this week.
Jos Buttler's team are in the Caribbean as they build up to next year's T20 World Cup, where they will be looking to defend the title they lifted in Australia in 2022.
Having already been beaten 2-1 in the 50-over format, the tourists will be desperate to bounce back as they play the first match in Bridgetown, Barbados, live on TNT Sports.
The new technology will limit the time taken between overs and is set to be trialled for five months from December to April.
Bowling and fielding teams face a five-run penalty if they fail to meet the time limit on three occasions in the same innings.
An official press release said: “The CEC agreed to introduce a stop clock on a trial basis in men’s ODI and T20I cricket from December 2023 to April 2024. The clock will be used to regulate the amount of time taken between overs.
“If the bowling team is not ready to bowl the next over within 60 seconds of the previous over being completed, a 5-run penalty will be imposed the third time it happens in an innings.”
England's squad is bolstered by the arrival of T20 World Cup winners Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid and Chris Woakes as the series gets underway on Tuesday.
The series provides the perfect preparation for when they defend their title next year, with the tournament being held across the Caribbean and United States.
They have only previously beaten the West Indies once in an away T20 series, with Eoin Morgan's side running out 3-0 victors in March 2019.
