Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara to retire from international cricket
ByReuters
Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara will quit international cricket after the second Test against India this year, the 37-year-old left-hander said.
Sangakkara, who has scored more than 26,500 runs for his country, had already retired from one-day internationals following the World Cup earlier this year.
He is currently playing his 132nd Test against Pakistan in Colombo.
He will continue in domestic cricket, and currently has contracts with Surrey and the Hobart Hurricanes, who compete in Australia's Big Bash, that run up until the end of the 2016 season.
