Jimmy Anderson has kept his place in the England side for the fifth Ashes Test against Australia, which starts at The Oval on Thursday, July 27. Anderson, who turns 41 this week, has taken just four wickets in the series. He has said he isn't thinking about retirement while England captain Ben Stokes has called Anderson a "quality performer" ahead of the match.

England have named an unchanged starting XI as they look to deny Australia a first Ashes away win since 2001.
Australia lead the series 2-1 heading into the fifth and final Test at The Oval and will retain the urn whatever the result following the washout at Old Trafford.
However, they will be looking to secure a series win in England for the first time in over 20 years.
Fast bowler James Anderson, who turns 41 this week, keeps his place in the England XI despite taking only four wickets in three Tests in the series.
He will be joined in the pace ranks by Chris Woakes, Mark Wood and Stuart Broad, who is the leading wicket-taker in the series with 18 wickets.
Anderson’s place in the team has been questioned due to his lack of impact in the series so far.
He says he still feels like he is “bowling well” and isn’t considering retirement.
“I have certainly not had the returns I would have liked in this series,” he wrote in his Telegraph column.
“Everyone goes through a lean patch but you just don't want it to be in the most high-profile series we play.
"Ten or 15 years ago the debate would be about whether I should be dropped. Now it is about my future. I understand that. It is The Oval, the end of a series and a time for speculation.
"I keep talking to the coach and captain. They want me around, so as long as I am still hungry, want to put in the work then I will keep trying to give my best for the team. That is exactly where I am at the minute.
“If I was bowling horrendously, with my pace down and hobbling around in the field I might be thinking differently. But the hunger is still there. I feel like I'm bowling well, that I can still offer something to the team.”
The final Test starts on Thursday, July 27.
England captain Ben Stokes suggested he would be keen to keep Anderson around beyond the series.
“Jimmy Anderson is the greatest fast bowler to play the game,” he said.
“He’s not had the impact and the wickets he’d have liked to in this series, he’s come under a bit of flak, but he’s a quality performer.”
England XI: Ben Stokes (captain), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Johnny Bairstow (wicket-keeper), Stuart Broad, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood.
