Harry Brook praised an "awesome" bowling display from England after they crushed New Zealand by 65 runs in the second T20.
Captain Brook (78) and Phil Salt (85) powered England to a huge 236-4 batting first in Christchurch.
New Zealand never threatened the target, with Adil Rashid the pick of the bowlers with four wickets and Brydon Carse, Liam Dawson and Luke Wood all taking two apiece.
"Exactly what we have been talking about," said Brook after England took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
"We have done well from the start of my captaincy in taking a lot of wickets and to get another innings of 10 wickets was awesome."
On spinners Dawson and Rashid, Brook added: "They are extremely experienced and it’s warming to be able to go ‘lads, you do your thing’.
"For Daws to bowl four overs in a row, a lot of balls to left handers, with the wind howling to the leg side, the odds weren’t in his favour, but he bowled phenomenally and that gives me a lot of confidence moving forward."
England’s batters struggled for fluency at the same venue in the first T20, which was washed out at the halfway stage after the tourists made 153-6.
But Salt set the tone early for an impressive batting display this time around and then combined with Brook for a 129-run partnership in 69 balls.
Brook smashed five sixes - including four onto the roof of the stadium - in a 35-ball 78 as England posted their fifth-highest T20 score.
"It felt good," said Brook. "Always nice to contribute and to do it alongside Salty who has been very successful for us in this new era was good. Nice to get some runs and hit a few out of the park."

All 10 New Zealand wickets fell to catches, with Jordan Cox taking three.
Brook revealed how a slight tweak in bringing fielders off the boundary rope had helped England.
"There’s a lot of balls that get plinked into the outfield and there were a couple of occasions where if they were on the rope they are probably not carrying, so that’s just another positive move towards taking wickets."
England will be looking to clinch the series on Thursday in the third and final T20.
The match starts at 7:15 UK time and is live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
"Some good batting from England," said New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner after the second T20.

"England were very smart the way they played, they kept ticking over and there were no small overs. Whenever you get a 100-run partnership in a T20 it's pretty tough to stop.
"You look at the quality of the batters as well. We threw different options at them and they were able to keep going. The key is if you can get some dots and get wickets that way, but they were able to generate and get twos with the boundaries as well."
