Australia have a 2-1 lead in the series, but have already retained the Ashes after the fourth Test at Old Trafford lost the majority of the final two days to rain, resulting in a draw. The visitors won the toss and chose to bowl first, which led to England being dismissed for 283 after an afternoon batting collapse. Australia lost David Warner but will feel in control as they resume on 61-1.

Australia enjoyed the better of day one of the fifth and final Ashes Test at The Oval.
Despite five dropped catches, an England batting collapse helped the visitors to dismiss Ben Stokes’ side for 283, before a solid end to the day saw them just one wicket down.
Australia won the toss - for the first time in the series - and opted to bowl first in South London.
The morning session saw Australia drop three catches, with England relieved to reach lunch only three down on 131-3, having lost the wickets of Zak Crawley (22), Ben Duckett (41) and Joe Root (5).
Moeen Ali’s partnership with Harry Brook led England’s resistance on what had been a shaky start to the Test.
However, Moeen (34) went down requiring treatment on a groin injury shortly after lunch. He moved gingerly from then on, but still managed to spray the ball to the boundary on several occasions.
His stay was short-lived after that, though, and so began a middle-order batting collapse.
Stokes (3) and Jonny Bairstow (4) were quickly dismissed, before Brook fell for 85. Four wickets were taken for just 28 runs and England were all at sea.
Mitchell Starc was enjoying himself and after some slight defiance from Mark Wood (28) and Stuart Broad (7), England’s first innings came to an end as Starc took the wicket of Chris Woakes (36) who pulled the ball into the hands of Travis Head at deep square leg.
Broad opened the bowling for England and gave a huge shout for lbw after his first ball crashed into the pads of Usman Khawaja. It was well down the leg side though, and England did not review.
David Warner was perhaps lucky not to fall without scoring after feathering a ball down the leg side, with wicket-keeper Bairstow only able to get a finger tip to it, and nudge it on its way to the boundary.
Bairstow did hold his next opportunity from Warner though, but after being given not out, England lost a review with there being no bat or glove making contact with a sizzling delivery from Broad.
England finally got their breakthrough with Woakes inviting an edge from Warner (24), and Crawley clutching the ball in the slips.
Khawaja (26no) and Marnus Labuschagne (2no) took Australia to 61-1 at stumps on day one.
Speaking to Sky Sports at the end of play, Australia spinner Todd Murphy said: "I think winning the toss and bowling, the first objective is to always bowl them out and we managed to do that.
"We created a lot of chances, it would have been nice if we had been able to hold on to all of them.
"It was a really good day and to be 61-1 at the end is nice."
Despite their batting collapse, England's Brook said: "I think we have had a good day in the end.
"We were thinking about 250 being a good score about lunchtime so to end up getting 280, we are pretty happy."
Brook admitted it was a challenging day at the crease, with Australia's bowlers - especially their captain Pat Cummins - being fired up.
"Australia are so persistent in their lengths, particularly Pat Cummins," Brook said. "When he gets a bit off the pitch, he is tough to face. I felt like I got battered on the inner thigh pad all day."
